The Mission

What is the Great Camp Mission?

2020 has been a difficult year for everyone, and even worse for those who feel too much, aka empaths like me. It has been exhausting seeing so much pain and hopelessness. I’m a fixer. I always have been, so naturally I want to fix all the problems going on in the world. The answer I came up with was simple. The world needs more Jesus. Over the past few years, I have been feeling called into ministry but unsure of what that looks like. I have spent the past few months really praying about it and asking God to guide me.

During quarantine, D.J. and I bought an old camper and are in the process of giving it a full on makeover. Once we are finished, we plan on traveling all around the United States and visiting new churches every Sunday. We are eager to start living much simpler lives knowing that we are taken care of by a father in heaven who loves us and gives us everything we could possibly need and then some. We are so excited for this whole experience with our camper and are making it our mission to teach new friends we meet along our journey about Jesus Christ, and His great commandment to love God and to love others.

“Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.”

Matthew 28:19-20
